CivicMerge is operated by Interzone Group, an unincorporated entity based in California, USA. By using civicmerge.com, you agree to these terms.
By accessing or using CivicMerge (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are 18 or older.
You may need an account to purchase datasets or subscribe. Account registration requires a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
To delete your account, email team@civicmerge.com. We will process deletion within 30 days. Purchase records are retained in anonymized form for 7 years as required by tax law.
One-time purchases. You pay the listed price for a dataset. Payment is processed by Stripe. Upon successful payment, you may download the dataset. Access does not expire.
Subscriptions. Standard ($49/mo) and Pro ($99/mo) tiers billed monthly via Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access and remaining exports until the period ends. No prorated refunds.
No refunds. All purchases and subscription payments are final. Because digital goods cannot be returned, we do not offer refunds. This includes accidental purchases.
When you purchase a dataset, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it for any lawful purpose, including commercial use, research, analysis, and product development.
You may not resell, sublicense, or publicly redistribute the raw dataset as-is. Derived works, analysis, and aggregated insights are permitted and do not require attribution.
Datasets are derived from public government data. To the best of our knowledge, the underlying source data is public domain. Cleaning and transformation may create new intellectual property, which we license to you under these terms.
We clean and validate datasets to the best of our ability, but we do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Government source data may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information.
THE SERVICE AND ALL DATASETS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS.” WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Interzone Group shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or any dataset. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific dataset or subscription period giving rise to the claim.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these Terms. If your account is terminated for cause, no refund will be issued. You may stop using the Service at any time.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of California.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
